Get ready for a sky full of color, creativity, and friendly competition at the El Paso County Kite Festival!
This year’s theme, “Sky of Celebration, Sky of Freedom,” honors America’s 250th anniversary and Colorado’s 150th anniversary.
Join us for a day of wind, vendors, food, and friendly rivalry. Bring your favorite kite, cheer on the high-flyers, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy a fun day outdoors with family and friends.

Think your kite has what it takes to stand out in the sky? Join us at the El Paso County Kite Festival for the Youth Kite Contest, open to participants under age 18!

Most Elaborate Kite
Judge’s ChoiceJudging will take place anytime between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m., with prizes awarded at 1:30 p.m.
