Family Fun Day

The best way to celebrate spring and the outdoors with your family! Explore outdoor activity stations from a variety of organizations in the Pikes Peak Region to learn, imagine, and create! We’ll be serving up hot dogs (and veggie dogs) at no additional cost. During your hike, enjoy the meadows, forests, ponds, and wetlands along the trail. Maybe you’ll spot the wildlife that lives here!

Don’t forget your reusable water bottle – you can fill your water bottle with high quality drinking water at the Colorado Springs Utilities Hydration Station! Thank you CS Utilities for their support and for keeping us all hydrated. Friends volunteers will be selling sodas for $1 each (cash).

This event is a fundraiser for the Friends of El Paso County Nature Centers, whose mission is to connect people to their natural and cultural resources and to inspire them to become stewards of the parks and our environment. Our Friends volunteers will be hosting even more science and craft stations!

$5 per person 2 years old and over. Active Military are FREE – just bring your military ID!
